Name: Nina Leftwich Papers, 1788-1969
Historical Note: Born November 16, 1881 in Sheffield, Alabama; Nina Leftwich was a teacher. She studied at the University of Alabama, George Peabody College and got her M.A. in 1929. She operated the Leftwich Antique and Gift Shop in Sheffield; taught at Coffee High School, Florence; was a part of the Florence State Teacher's College. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Tennessee Valley Historical Society. She died March 1, 1968.
