This collection contains materials primarily on Kyoto, Japan and Japanese art, as well as artifacts from 21 countries. There are also slides from various nations as well.
Biographical Note
A native of Franklin County, Jean Schulman has become one of the South's most reconized artists. She uses a unique process-she takes native North Alabama clays to dye fabric. She even has some of her work on permanent display in the Smithsonian Institute.
