Abstract
This Collection consists of notes, newspaper articles, finacial documents, letts, photographs, and memorabilia including yearbooks, all detailing the actions of the Pierian Study Club. From these materials, we can see how to Pierian Study Club was created by a group of women in an effort to learn. they would disscuss the club, eat, and read a book or listen to a speaker. They would also donate money to organizations the club voted on like the Red Cross and Girl Scouts, and every winter season, they would throw a Christmas party. Though they did all of this , learning is what they truly gathered for. Some topics they explored were destistry, countries of the world, short stories, and music. This study club went out of their way to learn something new.
